Grab Bars
We offer grab bar and other safety device installation throughout your home. Moen Home Care products are the only grab bars we install. For nearly 10 years, we have used these products and can confidently say their system is the best in the business. Moen Home Care grab bars are made from stainless steel and allow various mounting configurations. Regardless of size the grab bars don’t require direct to stud mounting. Grab bars can be installed in tile, drywall, wood, fiberglass or synthetic materials of various thickness. See below for additional information.
Allowable mounting substrates.
1/2” or 5/8 ” Dry Wall • 1/2” or 5/8 ” Dry Wall with Tile • 1/2” or 5/8 ” Dry Wall with Marble • 1/8” or 1/4 ” Fiberglass Tub Surround.
Common Sizes 18”, 24”, 30”, 32”, 36”, 42”, 48”.
Mounting Options
Moen grab bars can be use as a direct to stud application. However, in many cases the location and wall material can’t accommodate a direct to stud installation. Moen Home Care has developed the SecureMount Anchor system to address nearly all installation configurations. The SecureMount system can accommodate up to 300lbs working weight whether mounted on or off studs.
Moen grab bar and SecureMount Anchors systems are tested to 500lb pull capacity, with a 300lb working rating.
